Volunteering at Help Portrait 2017

This year I was finally able to schedule time to volunteer for Help Portrait! The event occurs annually on the first Saturday of December, and is "a global movement of photographers, hairstylists and makeup artists using their time, tools and expertise to give back to those in need." Photographers spend the day photographing families absolutely FREE!

I arrived bright and early at the Murfreesboro event, held at the Experience Church in Murfreesboro, and photographed couples and families until 2PM. All I can say is WOW! What an amazing outpouring of support! My husband brought us hungry photographers a box of donuts, and we captured some adorable family memories! I met some wonderful people, and I will definitely be back to help next year. Below are some iPhone snaps from the day!
