Children’s Heirloom Portraits

Childhood passes in the blink of an eye. Capture your little one now with Heirloom Portraits — timeless, elegant images for ages 3 months to 6 years, featuring access to a curated wardrobe, hand-edited portraits, and fine art keepsakes you’ll treasure forever.

The Sweetest Way to Remember Childhood.

There’s a reason families are falling in love with Heirloom Portraits — those timeless, storybook-style images of little ones in classic outfits, framed in gold and glowing with warmth.

But this isn’t just a trend. It’s a return to something more meaningful: slowing down, and capturing childhood the way it feels — pure, tender, and unforgettable.

Inspired by vintage Southern portraiture, these sessions feature soft backdrops, sweet expressions, and hand-embroidered clothing. Designed for children 3 months to 6 years, each portrait is carefully composed, professionally edited, and printed to last for generations.

One day, your grandchildren will look at these images and ask, “Was that our Mom?”

Why Families Love Heirloom Portraits

Because they grow up fast — and this moment won’t last.

These portraits freeze the sweetness of childhood in timeless, museum-quality images you’ll treasure forever.

✔️ Classic & Timeless – No trends, just refined, lasting style
✔️ Full of Personality – I capture more than a smile — I capture them
✔️ Fine Art Quality – Hand-edited, printed to last generations

There’s a brief window when your child is still little — yet becoming fully themselves. Full of wonder, sweetness, and spirit.

They’ll never be smaller than they are today — and these portraits preserve that moment forever.

Heirloom Portraits aren’t just pictures. They’re fine art keepsakes that grow more meaningful as the years pass — long after toys and clothes are outgrown.

They will never be smaller than they are today.

 FAQs

  • My Heirloom Portrait sessions are designed for children ages 3 months to 6 years — that sweet, fleeting stage when they’re still little but bursting with personality.

If your child is younger or older, don’t worry — reach out! Every child is unique, and Heirloom Portraits can work beautifully beyond the suggested age range.

  • Each session lasts 20–30 minutes and is relaxed, gentle, and child-led. I focus on capturing your child’s unique spirit in a calm, studio environment. Not every shot is perfect. That’s okay and expected!

  • Heirloom Portraits are designed to be quick, calm, and effective — typically 20–30 minutes.

Little ones (especially babies) have short attention spans and can get fussy quickly. The goal isn’t to capture a large number of images — it’s to create a small collection of intentional, beautiful portraits that truly reflect your child.

Short sessions help us keep things relaxed, focused, and enjoyable for everyone.

  • I photograph in my home studio in the heart of Lebanon, Tennessee, keeping the location convenient and comfortable. As a mother of a baby and toddler, my studio is fully stocked with diaper changers and all the baby supplies you'll need (and even a playroom if your little one needs a break!). Want a bigger studio or for me to come to you? I work with locations across Middle Tennessee, and can even come to your home for an additional fee.

  • Your package includes three, five, or seven high-resolution digital portraits that you’ll treasure forever. Additional images and fine art prints are available for purchase.

  • Heirloom Portraits are meant to be timeless, intentional, and carefully curated — not overwhelming in quantity, but powerful in meaning. These sessions are designed to deliver only the best: a small collection of beautifully refined images that truly capture your child’s spirit.

You don’t need dozens of photos — just a few that take your breath away every time you see them.

  • Yes — every selected image includes a black and white version, beautifully edited to highlight the emotion and timeless quality of your portraits.
This does not count against your image total, so you’ll receive both color and black & white for each final selection.

  • You’ll have access to a curated wardrobe of beautiful, timeless outfits — delicate, hand-selected pieces that add elegance and complement your child’s portraits perfectly. I don’t have every size, so check beforehand on sizing.

  • Yes! You’re welcome and encouraged to bring your own clothing, but many families find the curated wardrobe saves time and adds to the timeless, classic look of their portraits.

  • Yes — your child is welcome to wear as many outfits as you'd like within the session time. Whether you want to try one classic look or a few different styles, we’ll make the most of our 20–30 minutes together.

  • Yes — I’m happy to photograph siblings together, but each child must be booked separately to ensure they receive the time, attention, and portrait selection they deserve.

This allows me to capture each child’s unique personality with the same level of care and detail.

  • You can expect your private gallery within 1-2 weeks after your session. Need it rushed? Depending on my workload, I can move you to the top for a rush fee.

  • I offer a range of beautiful keepsakes including folio boxes, three-panel displays, glass folio boxes, Italian leather albums, framed prints, and even Christmas ornaments — all designed to preserve and showcase your heirloom portraits.
